Connecting cloud issues to accountable owners

Built an automated process that connects new cloud security issues to the right subscription owner and follows up every three days.

How the workflow works

A script retrieves subscription inventory from Wiz and uses account IDs to match CMDB ownership records, then applies ownership tags in Wiz. A workflow using Wiz AI Green Agent triggers on newly created issues, emails the identified owner, and sends follow-ups every three days. Built in my Cloud Security Advisor role.

Deploying security sensors across the Kubernetes fleet

Architected Torq automation enforcing CrowdStrike and Wiz Sensor installation and version upgrades across 1,680+ EKS, AKS, and GKE clusters.

Built in my Cloud Security Advisor role. The workflow integrates AWS ECR, CodeBuild, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, Torq, and Wiz, with an AI agent for issue analysis.

Unifying cloud security across acquisitions

Own Wiz and Torq product strategy and cloud security enforcement across 11 acquisitions. Deployed Wiz Defend enterprise-wide and closed AWS configuration gaps through CIS assessments, improving the compliance score from 54% to 90%.

Engineering scope

Designed and built ingestion pipelines processing approximately 300 TB of security telemetry from three platforms, consolidating visibility across acquired entities.

Built Python and Torq automation that remediated 15,000+ vulnerabilities and reduced remediation cycle time by 40% during my Cloud Security Engineer role.

Building repeatable cloud infrastructure and defenses

Built and maintained AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts, including EC2, IAM, S3, EKS, VPC, Lambda, and API Gateway. Developed Terraform modules integrated into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines. Partnered with platform engineering on private-subnet connectivity to on-premises systems, network segmentation, and least-privilege access.

Engineering scope

Engineered a high-availability quarantine mechanism for EKS and AKS and authored 20+ Rego/Wiz detection rules across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Previously maintained eight EKS clusters and built AWS quarantine automation that blocked external exposure of 68+ vulnerable functions without service disruption.
